Blaine B.
Private tutor in Radcliff, KY
Education
Graduated Magna cum Laude from Western Kentucky University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I majored in history and minored in geography.
Experience
Although I possess no formal tutoring experience, during my undergraduate career I assisted numerous students who were struggling with their coursework. I found these instances extremely rewarding, which is the primary reason that I am currently seeking summer employment as a tutor. I have an in depth knowledge of American legal history, and modern European history. Despite my undergraduate concentration in history, I am also qualified to instruct individuals in philosophy, particularly political theory, a subject that I studied in depth while taking Political Science 330 and 435 at Western Kentucky University. I have taken the GRE and the LSAT, and received scores of 1100 and 151 respectively. During college I was involved with a service fraternity, our history department's honors fraternity, and college Republicans. Due to my academic achievement, I was named President's Scholar for five consecutive semesters, and received two annually rewarded scholarship designed specifically for promising historians. Recently, I was named John Marshall Harlan Scholar by Chase College of Law, where I will be attending in August.

Hobbies
Apart from my academic pursuits, I enjoy reading, particularly nineteenth century literature; one of my all time favorite works is Henry David Thoreau's "Walden." Although my profile thus far may indicate an introverted personality, this is far from the case. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, and often spend my weekends boating.
